Professional Experience and Accomplishments

Sr. IT Project Manager, DXC Technology | Remote, ME | February 2023 – Present

  • Led delivery across 7+ complex enterprise cybersecurity, infrastructure, and monitoring initiatives, including CMMC security capabilities, US Opcenter infrastructure, and Synthetic ActiveGate implementation.
  • Directed an enterprise monitoring transformation across U.S. and Canadian environments spanning Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris, and HPC platforms; onboarded hundreds of servers to Dynatrace while coordinating infrastructure, network, security, and operational dependencies.
  • Led phased retirement of legacy HPOM across large portions of the server estate without production instability or service disruption, reducing technical debt while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Managed procurement delays, vendor dependencies, regulatory approvals, constrained change windows, and evolving technical requirements through active replanning, prioritization, and escalation; maintained delivery momentum without unplanned cost escalation.
  • Served as the central coordination point across client stakeholders, engineers, security teams, vendors, and governance functions, proactively surfacing risks and driving decisions before issues became delivery blockers.
  • Supported SoW development, proposals, change requests, purchase order uplifts, and follow-on work by translating emerging requirements into project charters, executable scope, milestones, dependencies, effort, acceptance criteria, and delivery sequencing.
  • Led controlled deployment and change activities across regulated production environments, coordinating CAB submissions, network and firewall changes, outage-suppression strategies, operational readiness, and support-team training.
  • Protected committed revenue and avoided downstream remediation through disciplined risk management, phased execution, and early escalation of delivery constraints.

Project Leadership and Technical Strategy, Bath Iron Works | Brunswick, ME | April 2007 – February 2023

  • Directed $1M+ multi-project portfolios spanning engineering, digital technology operations, employee development, and regulatory compliance; aligned priorities, resource capacity, schedules, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
  • Established structured intake, stage-gate, tasking, and reporting cadence across concurrent work; improved visibility into scope, resource demand, priorities, milestone readiness, and delivery performance.
  • Managed 24 designers across two multidisciplinary teams, balancing workload and capacity while resolving barriers, resource conflicts, and competing program priorities.
  • Introduced discrete tasking models that reduced Level of Effort charging by 72% in 2020, strengthening work allocation, accountability, and project cost control.
  • Led process improvement and LEAN initiatives that reduced average product lead time by 3.2 hours and contributed to a 39% increase in library parts developed between 2019 and 2020.
  • Improved employee training and qualification practices, contributing to a 2% reduction in overall program costs and a 17% reduction in total defects in 2020.
  • Coached and mentored employees through structured feedback, weekly training, skill development, and continuous improvement activities; also served as acting design work leader when required.
  • Supported design milestone reviews and provided technical analysis to identify downstream impacts, delivery risks, and required corrective actions.
  • Led implementation and administration of Cornerstone OnDemand Learning and Performance modules for 5,000+ users, including development of LMS process and user-experience improvements that saved approximately 3,000 labor hours annually.
  • Built collaborative relationships across shop-floor operations, engineering, management, executives, and Navy stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and support organizational priorities.
  • Conducted post-implementation and lessons-learned reviews and used findings to refine processes, training practices, and subsequent delivery decisions.
