About

I am a technology and project management professional whose work centers on complex IT delivery, cross-functional coordination, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in professional decision-making. My experience spans enterprise technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, operational improvement, and project leadership across environments where technical decisions carry organizational and operational consequences.

I currently work as an IT project manager, leading and integrating technology initiatives involving internal teams, customers, vendors, and ecosystem partners. Much of my professional work involves translating technical complexity into executable plans, coordinating specialists across organizational boundaries, and maintaining accountability when requirements, dependencies, and operating conditions remain uncertain.

Alongside my professional work, I am pursuing a Doctor of Technology at Purdue University. My research focuses on human-AI interaction in project management, with emphasis on how IT project managers evaluate and act on AI-generated recommendations when those recommendations may be incorrect, uncertain, unsupported, or inconsistent with professional judgment. I am especially interested in trust calibration, appropriate reliance, verification behavior, decision support, human oversight, and the governance mechanisms that shape responsible AI use.

My academic interests extend across human-computer interaction, sociotechnical systems, artificial intelligence, decision support, technology leadership, and project management. I approach these areas as connected problems: technical systems operate within organizations, and their effectiveness depends on the people, processes, incentives, and decisions surrounding them.

I hold a Master of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Enterprise Technology Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. I also hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications.

WJP.AI serves as a working portfolio for this intersection of practice and research. It includes selected projects, doctoral research, professional writing, and analysis of AI, project management, human-AI interaction, and applied technology.
